YESSS Electrical, a leading electrical wholesale supplier with 96 branches nationwide, has partnered with Kight Off-Grid to supply the cutting edge eco-friendly KV-6 portable site light. The move follows a successful trial at the company’s UK Headquarters in Normanton and aligns with its commitment to providing sustainable solutions to its industrial and national account customers.
Kight Off-Grid’s products were carefully chosen by YESSS Electrical for their advanced technology, meeting the increasing demand from customers to explore renewable and eco-friendly alternatives. The KV-6 portable site light boasts an array of features, including dual integration of solar and wind energy input, next-generation battery technology with a lifespan exceeding 20 years, and superior ground zonal lighting LED output.
Craig Taylor, Industrial Projects Engineer at YESSS Electrical, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “Here at YESSS, we love innovative products that solve problems and enable our clients to reduce their carbon emissions. Kight’s zero emission lighting solutions offer a more cost-effective and efficient alternative for our customers, eliminating the need for extensive cabling or generator-driven lights.”
Brandon Weston, Head of Sales and Marketing at Kight commented, “We’re thrilled to be working with YESSS Electrical as our products are ideal for the company’s extensive customer base, particularly key national accounts such as tier one construction companies and the defence and steel industries.”
Kight Off-Grid’s 100% off-grid dual-energy wind/solar street lighting system is the first of its kind to be designed, tested, and manufactured in the UK. It provides reliable performance year-round, even in winter’s low light levels and reduced daylight hours.
Kight’s portable site lights, particularly tailored for construction, highways, and car parks, offer advanced LED ground zonal lighting that adheres to British standards for street lighting. This makes them more suitable for lighting temporary and permanent roads and car parks compared to traditional tower lights, ensuring luminosity and spread of light in line with street lighting standards. The compact footprint and easy manoeuvrability with a forklift make these solutions versatile and practical for various applications.
YESSS Electrical foresees numerous applications for Kight’s products within its customer base, ranging from steel plants to power stations. The company will feature Kight’s KV-6 site light in its new industrial product catalogue, available early February 2024.
